York County Historic Courthouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and slated for interior and exterior renovations, the York County Courthouse required a comprehensive restoration to bring the circa 1914 structure to its former aesthetic beauty and functional use. The design team was charged with preserving as much of the original structure as possible while bringing the infrastructure up to code standards and regulatory building security. In much disrepair after a five year closure, the courthouse restoration included the main entry, corridors, courtrooms, offices and restrooms and required historical expertise to preserve the Classical Revival style of its time.
