Giordana Velodrome
Rock Hill, South Carolina
The Giordana Velodrome is a 250m world-class cycling track in Rock Hill, SC completed in January 2012. The Velodrome will introduce the Charlotte and Rock Hill community to the Olympic sport of track cycling. The Velodrome contains nearly 3000 cubic yards of concrete, 220 tons of reinforcing steel, and took approximately 8 months to build. Leitner also constructed the underground tunnel that stretches from the infield to the spectator building.
